Právne aspekty ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti Zuzana Gavalierová, Ahmadullah Fathi Súhrn Stav zdravotníctva Slovenskej republiky je už niekoľko rokov v dôsledku nesystémových zmien a zlého finančného ohodnotenia zdravotníckych pracovníkov, zvlášť sestier a pôrodných asistentiek, v žalostnom stave. Dlhodobá nedostatočná kapacita stavu sestier a pôrodných asistentiek k rozsahu zdravotnej starostlivosti sa prejavuje plnou mierou dopadu v období pandémie COVID-19. Sestry a pôrodné asistentky sú preťažené a vyčerpané, čo môže mať za následok frustráciu a prinášať napätie do vzťahu sestra - pacient. Táto situácia môže podnietiť sťažnosti a vyústiť až do možných právnych sporov. Autori v článku uvádzajú aspekty ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti, ktoré z právneho hľadiska môžu pôsobiť preventívne.	18

Špecifiká terapie stresovej inkontinencie moču a starostlivosť o ženu v kontexte ošetrovateľstva Specifics of stress urinary incontinence therapy and care for women in the context of nursing Jozef Babečka, Ivica Gulášová Súhrn Autori sa v článku venujú špecifikám terapie stresovej inkontinencie moču a starostlivosť o ženu v kontexte ošetrovateľstva. Stresová inkontinencia si zaslúži zvláštnu pozornosť, nakoľko ňou v dôsledku odlišných anatomických pomerov trpia takmer výlučne ženy a súčasne tvorí 50 % inkontinencií moču u žien. V úvode je stručne opísná stresová inkontinencia moču a jej diagnostika. Autori v jadre podrobnejšie vysvetľujú samotné špecifiká terapie močovej inkontinencie a následnú ošetrovateľskú starostlivosť o ženu so stresovou inkontinenciou moču a porovnanie štúdií s úspešnosťou terapie močovej inkontinenciev zahraničí.Záver publikácie ponúka najčastejšie aktuálne ošetrovateľské diagnózy vo vybraných doménach u pacientky so stresovou inkontinenciou moču. Summary The authors discuss the specifics of stress urinary incontinence therapy and care for women in the context of nursing. Stress incontinence deserves special attention, as it affects almost exclusively women due to different anatomical conditions and at the same time accounts for 50% of urinary incontinence in women. The introduction briefly describes stress urinary incontinence and its diagnosis. The authors explain in more detail the very specifics of urinary incontinence therapy and subsequent nursing care for a woman with stress urinary incontinence. The conclusion of the publication offers the most common current nursing diagnoses in selected domains in a patient with stress urinary incontinence. Key words: Stress urinary incontinence. A woman. Anjeli smrti medzi zdravotníkmi Angels of death among health care professionals Andrea Ševčovičová, Dušan Sedlák Súhrn Každý zdravotnícky pracovník má vykonávať svoje povolaniezodpovedne a svedomito. Samozrejme je rešpektovanie ľudských práv, ako aj výkon povolania v súlade s právnymi predpismi. Napriek týmto skutočnostiam a ďalším zásadám, ktoré upravuje aj etický kódex zdravotníckeho pracovníka, dochádza k porušovaniu práva na život. Zdravotníci, ktorí siahnu na život pacienta sú označovaní ako anjeli smrti. Eutanázia a asistované suicídium sú však vo väčšine krajín neprípustné. Napriek tomu sa medzi zdravotníkmi vyskytujú sérioví vrahovia, ktorí využívajú svoju mocenskú pozíciu. Podľa motivácie pre ukončenie života človeka alebo jeho utrpenia rozoznávame skupinu milosrdných vrahov, sadistických anjelov smrti alebo malígnych hrdinov. Prípady páchateľov v zdravotníckej uniforme však nie sú známe iba vo svete, ale aj na Slovensku. Kľúčové slová: Anjeli smrti. Etický kódex. Vraždy pacientov. Summary Each healthcare worker should perform his profession responsibly and conscientiously. Respect towards human rights is natural, as well as job performance in accordance with the legal regulations. In spite of these facts and other principles stated also in the Healthcare Professionals Code of Ethics, there are violations of the right to life. The healthcare professionals who reach for a patient´s life are tagged as angels of death. Euthanasia and assisted suicide are unacceptable in most of the countries, though. In spite of that, among healthcare workers, there are serial killers who abuse their position of power. According to the motivation for termination of a human´s life or his suffering, we differentiate the group of mercy murderers, sadistic angels of death, or malignant heroes. Cases of perpetrators in medical uniforms are not known in the world only, but also in Slovakia. Key words: Angels of death. Code of ethics. Murders of patients.	37
Orechy vo výžive človeka Nuts in human nutrition Ľubica Trnková, Aneta Malčeková Súhrn Škrupinové plody sú nutrične bohaté potraviny, ktoré konzumujeme ako súčasť rôznych jedál, zákuskov, pečiva, alebo akopražené či solené pochutiny. Poznáme ich skôr pod názvom orechy, ku ktorým zaraďujeme kešu, kokosový orech, lieskové orechy, makadamové orechy, mandle, para orechy, pekanové a píniové orechy, pistácie a vlašské orechy. Výsledky mnohých štúdií poukazujú na fakt, že ľudia, ktorí konzumujú najmenej 20 g orechov denne, majú nižšie riziko vzniku srdcovocievnych ochorení, rakoviny, ale aj mnohých iných ochorení. Orechy dodávajú telu látky, ktoré sú pre ľudský organizmus nenahraditeľné. Obsahujú všetky makronutrienty, sú cenným zdrojom vitamínov, minerálnych látok a stopových prvkov, ale aj vlákniny. Summary Nuts are nutritionally rich foods that we consume as part of various foods, desserts, pastries, or as roasted or salted snacks. We know them more by the name nuts, which include cashews, coconut, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, pecans and pine nuts, pistachios and walnuts. The results of many studies point to the fact that people who consume at least 20 g of nuts a day have a lower risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, cancer, but also many other diseases. Nuts supply the body with substances that are irreplaceable for the human body. They contain all macronutrients, they are a valuable source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements, but also fiber. Nurse interventions in conducting hypothermia in patients with bacterial meningitis Ana Tomić, Ana Mutić, Josip Božić, Suzana Avgustinović Summary Bacterial meningitis despite today’s effective and more affordable antimicrobial drugs remains a significant problem. Despite treatment according to all the principles of intensive care, even in the most developed countries, the lethality of bacterial meningitis, and especially pneumococcal meningitis, is still high and amounts to 34%. Typically this is a serious disease that is directly life-threatening to patients or leaves severe neurological deficits after recovery. It is vital to start timely antimicrobial therapy, as well as complex supportive and symptomatic therapy. One of the potential possibilities of additional benefits for such patients is the use of therapeutic hypothermia. In our Clinic for Infectious Diseases "Dr.Fran Mihaljević" in Zagreb, therapeutic hypothermia has been performed since 2005 and demandes a very high degree of education and sensibility from the nurse in order to perform complex nursing interventions in patients and thus contribute to improved disease outcome.
